KOLKATA | Oct 09, 2017: The country's largest iron ore producer, state-run NMDC Ltd, has decided to pay Rs 55,600 to all eligible workmen on its rolls towards Annual Performance Incentive under Annual Performance Incentive Scheme for the FY 2017. The decision was taken in its Apex Joint Council Meeting and Corporate Level Bipartite Committee held at Kolkata on Friday.
The meeting was attended by NMDC chairman N Baijendra Kumar, NMDC along with all functional Directors of NMDC including Narendra K Nanda, Director(Technical), T.R.K.Rao, Director(Commercial), P.K.Satpathy, Director(Production), D.S.Ahluwalia, Director(Finance), Sandeep Tula, Director(Personnel) and members of All India Trade Union of NMDC, all of whom came to a consensus on declaring Annual Performance Incentive to all eligible workmen at the Apex Joint Council Meeting. Gurudas Dasgupta, President of All India NMDC Workers Federation was also present.
NMDC which achieved its highest ever production of 34 million tonne and sales of 35.6 million tonne of iron ore in 2016-17, has a team of around 5,500 employees on its rolls.
