At the concluding function of Mine Safety Fortnight of SECL, the Pinora area has won the ‘Overall’ first position.
It may be mentioned that the concluding function of Mine Safety Fortnight was organised and chief guest on the occasion was P K Sarkar, Director General, Mine Safety while function was presided over by B R Reddy, Chairman-cum-Managing Director (CMD).
The special guests on the occasion were A P Panda, Director (Finance), Dr R S Jha, Director (Personnel), Kuldeep Prasad, Director, Tehcnical (Operation) P K Sinha, Director, Technical (Planning & Operation), A P Labhane, Chief Vigilance Officer, Sohagpur, D P Tiwari, General Manager, Sohagpur area and General Manager, Johila area, O P Katare.At the concluding function, Johila area displayed hyradulic roof bolting machine which was made at the Regional Workshop of Johila area. Johila area displayed tableaux of making water of mines fit for drinking purpose and other use. Due to performance in all field, Pinora mine received ‘Overall’ first prize.
The chief guest PK Sarkar, Director General and CMD BR Reddy also addressed the gathering. On behalf of Johila area, award was received by General Manager OP Katare, GM (operation) PK Podar, Area Safety Officer IH Siddiqui, Sub Area Manager, Pinora P Shreekrishna, Manager S Palawat, Deputy Manager, E&M Pawan Shakya, Safety Officer Raghvendra Singh. GM Katare congratulated all employees and officers on receiving the prize and expressed hope that they would continue making efforts to attain new milestone and contribute in development of Johila Area.
