Bhopal: Comprehensive action against illegal mining

 

GWALIOR | March 01, 2017: One of the biggest action against illegal mining on Saturday, more than 30 stone crusher plants have been seized by the Gwalior’s SDM Maheep Tejaswi with their team in Chhounda and Nayagaon area of the district.

 

Chhounda and Nayagaon areas produce the metal stone in majority in the Gwalior region but now the complaints have been gotten before the administration for the illegal mining. Sub-divisional Magistrate Maheep Tejaswi was reached with their team in the area at 10:30 am on Saturday and taken action against illegal crusher plants and the action continued till 6:30pm. All 30 stone metal crusher plants were running illegally, the owners have not possessed compulsory permissions to operate lawfully. All owners of the plants were operated illegally as mining mafias.

 

Comprising district mining officer Manish Parewal, forest sub-divisional officer G K Chand, revenue officials and police and forest personnel among the pollution control board executive engineer raided the mining and stone metal crushers area.

 

“No anyone owners were possessed the compulsory permissions to operate metal crasher plant, we checked all crushers and found illegal all. All 30 metal crushers, five tractors and 1000 cubic tones raw and metal stones have been seized by the administration,” told SDM Maheep Tejaswi.

 

“Cases have been registered against the crushers owners under illegal mining Act, illegal storage of forest property Act, illegal excavation in forest area, illegal uses of revenue land and violation of the pollution control act.” Tejaswi also told.
