Two feared buried alive in mine collapse

Two persons were feared buried alive and three severely injured when an illegal mine caved in at Sushi Project in Bhoura Colliery in Dhanbad district. The bodies are yet to be recovered, said an eyewitness. “In the accident three got multiple injuries while we are investigating about the buried”, said Vikash Kumar Panjdey DSP Sindri.

 

According to the police a few people entered into an abounded mine for mining coal, suddenly it caved in.

 

Notably, each and every day hundreds of the village man and women used to mine and collect the coal as well as soil (coal mixed) to prepare ‘Gul’ which they used to sell in the market and to cook food in this coal belt region.
