MOIL executes mining lease for over 76.409 hectare land in Madhya Pradesh

MOIL, country’s top manganese ore producer, has executed the mining lease of over 76.409 hectare land granted by Government of Madhya Pradesh in the village Bharweli-Awalajhari, Tehsil & Balaghat district of Madhya Pradesh.

 

In July, the company had applied for mining lease of over 76.409 hectare land. In this regard, the Government of Madhya Pradesh had given approval for the area.

 

MOIL is the largest iron ore company in India and fifth largest in world. It currently operates seven underground mines (Kandri, Munsar, Beldongri, Gumgaon, Chikla, Balaghat and Ukwa mines) and three opencast mines (Dongri Buzurg, Sitapatore/Sukli, and Tirodi).
