Dr. Rajiv kumar, Garg, Principal Advisor Coal India Limited, Visited GKKC ecological restoration site of Kusunda Area on 08.06.2016.

He acknowledged and appreciated the efforts of BCCL.

He also urged to replicate this work to other coal mining industries.

His words were “BCCL is carrying out excellent ecological restoration work. GKKC is a living example as to how mined out degraded land can be restored back to a situation which is even better than before the onset of mining. This effort needs to be replicated to other sites too”
