Public sector Neyveli Lignite Corporation has commissioned the upgraded machinery set-up at a cost of Rs 45.75 crore in its premises.
The Bucket Wheel Excavator 1571, which has been in service for 28 years at the Specialised Mining Equipment erection yard, underwent a major overhaul including replacements of parts and reconditioning, a company statement said.
Neyveli Lignite Corporation Chairman and Managing Director, Sarat Kumar Acharya formally commissioned the machinery at a function today.
