A Division Bench of the High Court at Hyderabad comprising of Acting Chief Justice D.B. Bhosale and Justice S.V. Bhatt on Wednesday made it clear that the stay granted on sand mining in Prakkilanka village West Godavari district will continue only for that reach.The AP government requested the court to clarify on this issue as the sand mining was stalled throughout the district. The government informed the court that all major public works are stalled as the sand extraction was stalled across the district. The bench clarified that the stay will operate for the Prakkilanka reach only.
