Applications are invited from talented and motivated candidates for working in recently sanctioned Grant in Aid and Industry sponsored projects. The Post Codes & title of the projects are: (1) Post Code-I: Long term monitoring of coastal water to understand pollution and impact on coastal health funded by INCOIS, MoES, Post Code-II: Bioprospecting of marine microbial diversity for various products funded by DBT and Post Code-III: Marine environmental monitoring and impact assessment sponsored by industries. The number of positions against the post codes are tentative and may vary at the time of interview. The details of posts are as following:

Essential Qualification

:

M.Sc. Environmental Science

Desirable

:

Experience in water quality analyses.

Monthly remuneration

:

  1. ₹31,000/- + HRA to scholars who are selected through (a) National Eligibility Tests – CSIR UGC NET including Lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or GATE (b) A selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions.
  2. ₹25,000/- + HRA for others who don’t fall under (i) above

Essential Qualification

:

M.Sc. Microbiology/Biotechnology/Life Science

Desirable

:

Experience in handling environmental microorganisms and production of bioactive products.  

Monthly remuneration

:

  1. ₹31,000/- + HRA to scholars who are selected through Biotechnology Eligibility Tests (DBT-BET). Scholars qualified National Eligibility Tests – CSIR UGC NET including Lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or GATE (OR) A selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions.
  1. ₹25,000/- + HRA for others who don’t fall under (i) above

Age limit

:

35 years*

Post Code-III: 02 Posts

Essential Qualification

:

M.Sc. Marine Science/Marine Biology/ Zoology/Botany/Remote Sensing/Environmental Science (or) B.E. Environmental/Civil Engineering

Desirable

:

Experience in analysing water/wastewater, phytoplanktons, zooplanktons, benthos, coastal mapping and environmental impact assessment study.

Monthly remuneration

:

  1. ₹31,000/- + HRA to scholars who are selected through (a) National Eligibility Tests – CSIR UGC NET including Lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or GATE (OR) A selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions
  2. ₹25,000/- + HRA for others who don’t fall under (i) above
