NTPC Recruitment 2019: The National Thermal Power Corporation Limited (NTPC) has invited candidates for 207 posts of Engineering Executive Trainees in the discipline of electrical, mechanical, electronics, instrumentation and mining. NTPC Recruitment 2019: Educational qualification required

 

All the candidates interested in applying should posses a degree in engineering or technology with not less than 65 per cent marks from a recognised university/institute.

 

  • Electrical: Electrical/ Electrical and Electronics/ Electrical, Instrumentation and Control/ Power Systems and High Voltage/ Power Electronics/ Power Engineering.
  • Instrumentation: Electronics and Instrumentation/Instrumentation and Control.

Recruitment 2019: Age limit criteria

 

All the candidates should not exceed the maximum age limit of 27 years.

 

However, candidates from the reserved category will get age relaxation as per the government norms.

 

NTPC Recruitment 2019: Selection procedure

 

The applicants need to appear for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2019. Further, based on the GATE score and requirement, candidates will be shortlisted for further recruitment process.

 

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras will be conducting the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2019 on February 2, 3 and February 9, 10. The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is an all India examination that primarily tests the comprehensive understanding of various undergraduate subjects in engineering and technology.

 

The exam is conducted for admissions into post-graduate programmes in Indian institutes of higher education with financial assistance provided by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) and other government agencies.
